I don’t remember when or where I first became interested in Photography but somehow I’ve began studying it a University and I’m very pleased that I am. I first went to art school with the notion that I was going to study painting, and somewhere within my first year I realised that painting wasn’t me. I had always been known as “Keely, the one who is really good at painting” and I think a part of me wanted to stay “Keely, the one who is really good at painting” but I realised that didn’t make me happy or fill me with excitement. Holding a camera and looking through a view finder did. I have always had a camera kicking around and had only really used it as referencing for my paintings, but I began to develop my relationship with my camera and am now so glad I did so.

So here is my blog, detailing the highs and lows of my photographical journey.
