”I take rejection as someone blowing a bugle in my ear to wake me up and get going, rather than retreat”.
Sylvester Stallion – Actor , Writer and Director
Being HIV + and also being Diagnosed with AIDS, living openly has taught me that society settles for the dark secrets of humanity, those who do polish their soul and leave it as clear as glass, will for ever be the out casts of society. In contrary to what society thinks, seeing self as a human and not a blood sample has enabled me to live beyond my own human capabilities. This insight has also tapped in to the reserves of nature of which ordinary men and women will not access. It takes disowning our fears and embracing our strengths without forgetting our weaknesses to earn the badge of Survivor It is placed at the sixth sense, invisible to the majority and visible to those who wear the goggles of hope. The shape of hope is not an impressive one but it is an achievable reality for those who are determined to beat themselves at the game of life. Travelling their own life and living it way ahead of their physical body. Allowing their body to put one foot after the other right where their spirit being left a foot print.
Never waste time looking for the magnifying glass, just simply, walk behind your spirit not ahead of it. Who is the spirit being within. Find the answer within. HIV+ AIDS + has given me the answer and the answer is not HIV or AIDS, but it is the purpose engraved within which I am to live for. If disease dictates your life, if fear pulls your strings, if you imagine death as an enemy they even sulfuric acid bath is more comfortable in your life.
Make a choice - choose peace, at all costs.
"So I vowed to keep myself alive, but only if I would never use me again for just me - each one of us is born of two, and we really belong to each other. I vowed to do my own thinking, instead of trying to accommodate everyone else' opinion, credo's and theories. I vowed to apply my inventory of experiences to the solving of problems that affect everyone aboard planet Earth".
