Tega Cay, South Carolina

My family and I moved to Tega Cay in October of 2007. I grew up in a military family and moved all the time, so I’ve never had a place I call “home.” I have finally found that place I call “home” here in Tega Cay. I love it here! I have a daughter named Cameron and a son named Brayden. We love the sense of community here and never plan on leaving!!
I earned my Master’s Degree in Counseling at UNCC, where I met my husband Brad. Brad is therapist at the Family Center in Rock Hill working with troubled high school students and their families. I have counseled at the Women’s Commission in Charlotte, NC, working with victims of domestic violence and I have also done therapy with the inmates of Mecklenburg County Jail. I am no longer in the counseling field but still enjoy finding other ways to help people. One day when my kids are older and I have more free time, I plan on doing volunteer counseling and advocacy for victims of domestic violence. As of right now, I am thrilled to be able to be part of Tega Cay Neighbors Helping Neighbors, getting to know and help those around me!
