I’ve been studying art since I was twelve and took up the basics of photography when I was about fifteen. I didn’t have much of a chance to continue on with it until I reached college, though, but the camera-bug bit me in a big way, and I’ve been shooting ever since. I graduated from the University of Nebraska- Lincoln with a degree in Fine Art, and started shooting portraits and weddings in 2007. In the past few years I have worked with the Nebraska Writer’s Collective ( http://newriters.org/ ), The Apollon ( www.http://apollonomaha.com/ ), and most recently, the Lincoln Stars hockey team (www.lincolnstars.com). One of my most exciting projects was to shoot the National Poetry Slam in West Palm Beach, Florida, in 2009.

Of all the photographic projects I’ve done in the last few years, wedding photography is my favorite. It’s stressful, but being with the families on their special days makes it so much fun.
