Carlos’s most recently project involves his hosting/chef skills as “Carlitos” for the JL Show, airing on the Channel Mega TV in this spring. La Cruz served as a General Manager Consultant for Chimney BBQ and Milk Lounge, the First Upscale Restaurant in East Harlem. Carlos’s contribution to the hospitality industry is invaluable and recognized worldwide.

Carlos was part of the show LAS COMADRES WITH GLORIA B' MORNING MAGAZINE IN THE SEGMENT COOKING WITH CARLOS PRODUCED BY MAPI TV for NBC UNIVERSAL SPANISH TELEMUNDO NEW YORK CHANNEL 47.

Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Carlos La Cruz completed his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration with Honors, at the Arizona State University in 1996 and his culinary degree in Las Vegas in 1998. Carlos commenced his professional career in the city of New York as restaurant manager in the most prestigious restaurants in the city as Rancho cafe, Virgil BBQ in Times Square, Time Square Café, Gigino's at Wartner Park, Dos Caminos Mexican Restaurant in Park Avenue and Soho, Regent Hotel at Wall Street, Megu NYC at Tribeca , The Sport Club LA as a F & B Director, The most Glamorous club in New York Duvet Restaurant and Night Club, and at F & T Group / QC Celebrity Palace as General manager creating 7 Restaurants in the Queens Crossing Building: Mulan Modern Asian cuisine, Mudan Banquet Hall, TMSK lounge, Ah Rhee Soo Japanese and Korean Restaurant, Rose House The Tea House, Bally BBQ & Beer and Paris Baguette café. During this year of collaboration working with The President of the Asian American Association and Executive Chef Peter How, took his career to the next level and subsequently gained the status of Excellence in management. Carlos has developed a shining professional reputation in the Hospitality Industry that spans 24 years of experience in the City of New York.



Highlights of Carlos's career include:
Author of the book "Bitacora Gastronomica de Venezuela.” Executive Chef of the Caracas Pop Festival where Carlos created the daily menus for celebrities like Paulina Rubio, Juan Luis Guerra, El Grupo No Dout, Alice Morrison, the famous group Pink Flow, Ruben Blades, and local artist as well for 250,000 people in the stadium.

In Carlos’s book Bitacora Gastronomica de Venezuela he recovered over 300 traditional Venezuelan recipes. Carlos La Cruz established a new style in the restaurant industry creating upscale service on a bed at Duvet Night Club, fallowing Sabina Belkin’s concept and great ideas that generated more than 380 Media clips, a melee of media attention in USA, Europe and Asia. As a manager Carlos shares professional experience with celebrity chefs such as David Coleman, Nelson Martinez, Luigi's Gigino, Jean George, Peter How, Morimoto and many more.
