Laz his brother, and parents arrived in the U.S after escaping from the political tyranny of the Castro brothers and the Communist stronghold they have over Cuba. Laz is a father of 5 and married to Imelda, his sweetheart of many years. Laz studied and graduated from Northeastern University where he received his degree. He is an accomplished writer, poet, and human rights advocate and activist.
