My humble beginnings as a cook began with bologna or peanut butter and jam sandwiches eventually leading to producing and selling gourmet jams and jellies as an adult.  In addition I have in the past been the cook\/owner of a cafe and at one time a Chinese Food restaurant.  My previous work experience has also included retail management in stationery and office supply, fabrics and home decor, and clothing.  I have also  worked as a bank teller and had a remarkable experience working as an associate to some amazing people in a major Canadian pipeline company.\nTaking the plunge into middle age I have come to realize the value of family, friends and memories like never before, and the realization spurs this blogger onward.\nWhen I am not cooking, I am sewing or doing some other kind of handcraft.  The results of this can be found for sale at my online retail shop, Red Leaf Stitch Craft and you can read all about it on my Wordpress blog, Staying In Stitches.","urls":[]}]}
