Married, 3 grown children, 1 beautiful and talented teen grandchild. Sales, Community organization background, now retired. Lived/worked in DE, NC, TN, CA, VA. Born late-Depression era in MD. Baptized as Presbyterian at 16, became a UU in 1967 in DE, involved in UMC church while in Nashville, now proudly and firmly UU once again. Early influence by strongly conservative Vermont born grandfather. Supported Republican view even through post Nixon years, then soured on changing ideology within GOP. Could not support either political party through Carter/Reagan/Bush I years. Supported Dems after GOP debacle in Clinton's term though consider myself Independent. Believe balance of power - and civility - important to retention of true democracy.
