Tanya Grove writes poems, plays, songs, and books for children of all ages. Her middle-grade novel, My Name Is Lupe Jones, is currently looking for a home. She belongs to SCBWI (Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators) and is the editor of Write Angles, the newsletter for the Berkeley branch of the California Writers Club. Formerly an elementary teacher, Tanya volunteers as a writer coach for 8th graders. She sings with the Berkeley Broadway Singers and is a recent empty-nester. Her day job is editing and proofreading other people's books, and she is a self-professed word nerd.
