My husband and I live in beautiful Nova Scotia, Canada, and now that we are empty nesting I am again pursuing my dream of writing for children. As a part-time full-time caregiver to a beloved family member since April 2011, it is a challenge to find time for focused writing so I am reading more - which is also important. I'm a nature lover; flowers, birds, the ocean inspire me and are a source of peace for me.

I am privileged to have met and/or corresponded with Canadian and US authors, a blessing which has inspired me to keep going. Among those are internationally known Canadian author Budge Wilson, Canadian author Laura Best, US author Drew Lamm (originally from Canada), and US author/novelist Sue Harrison. It's my joy to be in contact with other writers and professionals of all stages of the process.
