First and foremost, I am an Aries. I don't know if that means anything, but it is a part of me. I like to write, I like to listen to music, I like to read and I like to crochet. Something else that I really enjoy, is making contacts over the waves as a ham radio operator. I think that you can see that with my Gravatar! Isn't that something?

I am a member of a Lions club in Chicago. I am also a member of a TOPS chapter.
TOPS is for Take Off Pounds Sensibly. I had to lose weight, and through TOPS I have been able to lose the weight I needed to feel better. I am now at a stage called KOPS. This means that I am Keeping Off Pounds Sensibly. Sometimes it is a struggle to maintain my weight, but I keep at it and attend meetings on a weekly basis.

I am married to a wonderful man, David. When I married him, I became an instant mother and grandmother. I love this role!

We have a cat named Snowball. She came into our lives in 2007, and she has had several babies, who are now full grown cats. We still take care of two of them who live under our porch.
