Hello Friends,
Wow, I am humbled that you would take the time to visit my blog. My name is Mark Mason. Some friends call me MacBootsy. (Don’t ask, I have no idea where that nickname came from, lol). I’m so happy that you’ve stopped by and to visit with me today. I’m married to a very understanding, patient, beautiful, and wonderful women, and I have with six adult children.
As a young man, I was always interested in photography, but never pursued the dream. You know, life tends to get in the way sometimes. Well, I finally bought my first film camera in 1996. It’s so funny; I was so inexperienced with that camera that when I first went out shooting; I kept hitting the wrong button to snap the picture. It wasn’t until the film came back from the lab and all the frames were black, did I realize what I had done. (I kept hitting the pop-up flash button. I was wondering why that doggone flash kept popping up.)
Since them, I've tried my hand at all different kinds of photography; nature, sports, family, still life, street, etc. Now, I will still shoot these on occasion, however, in the end, I found my passion in shooting intimate, sensual images of regular women and capturing that extraordinary and beautiful person inside of them. There’s something special about a client that comes in for a session a little apprehensive, nervous, and with some self-images issues and leaves out feeling on top of the world; A queen for the day.
