NOTE:I have been a professional in the horse industry for over 20 years. I have raised and trained several World Champions. I currently continue to train and teach lessons in the northern Illinois area, on a part time basis.  I work full time as a retail manager and enjoy the daily challenges this career brings. Managing the metrics, developing my team and all the interesting people I meet every day, make this a very satisfying career choice.  I share my home with several parrots. Two Amazons and a Macaw. They are delightful creatures, that really bring joy and humor to every day. As a way to give back some of the joy these birds have given to me, I write some articles to offer help to other people enjoy the parrots they share their lives with.
