I’ve been around the block once or twice in my years and have found that you simply cannot change and control people—even though I always seek to find the good in people. God made them who they are and we need to accept that.

However, with that stated, I’ve found that I don't have to engage in close relationships with people of that caliber. I don't have any more energy for the phony liars, the ignorant fakes, the shallow and selfish, and the small-minded and mean-spirited. Im done compromising my constitution for the benefit of others. Today I can take a deep breath and live and let live.
