I am a band booker, promoter and a curator of film and music events under the name M: Soundtrack and I am 1/3 of SUPERTAPE :: this is where I am a music consultant and supervisor for film, tv, commercials & new media and a avid maker of mixed (tapes) CDs and playlists. I am a filmmaker, and some nights and days I am a bar dj, a photo-taker, a festival director, a freelance journalist, or a hobby hostess when I invite you to my home and I a mother (always) * I make events that i want to attend, I'm selfish that way.
* I am from the Great Lakes state-- born in the capitol of Michigan and raised there and on the other side of the Lake in C H I C A G O my heart city.. where I attended film school at Columbia College. My Homebase is now in Berlin, Germany where I live since roughly 16 years, I organize live shows at Schokoladen Mitte under the name M:Soundtrack, an alternative cultural collective located in Berlin Mitte and running since 1991.. Although I also put up shows, screen films and have events at other venues around town, I am always searching the city for the right location to fit your Soundtrack -- big or small. In 2010, I became a member and curator for the association All2gethernow e.V. The a2n is an independent platform and event series that looks for new strategies within the music business and it’s cultural landscape.
