Chris Atkinson currently shares his time and creates on both the North Shore of Kaua'i and the Pacific Northwest. He grew up in Napa Valley where as a young man he apprenticed in the building of custom homes. In 1999 he moved to Hawai'i where he was introduced to Kaua'i artist Doug Britt who not only became a good friend but also his mentor. Chris's work has shown and won awards & honorable mentions in several juried shows. He is currently represented by Ola's Hanalei, Galerie 103 and FishCake.

I have always been fascinated by the actual process of creation and transformation. My mind is constantly turning with ideas.
