As a Service Designer, I'm a design generalist and facilitator of the 'design thinking' process - guiding cross-functional teams to use the methods and tools of design to solve business problems creatively.
I have a Masters in Design Strategy & Innovation from Brunel University and in between that and a BA in Industrial Design from the prestigious Central School of Art, accumulated 12 years experience as a design practitioner.
Through my own practise servicejunkie, I have been independently advocating the collaborative approach of using Service Design to innovate and improve services by looking through the lens of the customer's experience.
As part of the global DesignThinkers network, I've helped create and facilitate Service Design Thinking workshops, to transfer the idea that 'thinking like a designer' can help people in very different business roles work together creatively to solve problems and explore opportunities that could lead to new forms of value.
