As a Service Designer, I'm a facilitator of the service design thinking process - guiding a client's cross-functional teams to use the methods and tools of design to solve their customer experience challenges in creative ways.
I have a Masters in Design Strategy & Innovation from Brunel University and in between that and a BA in Industrial Design from the prestigious Central School of Art, I accumulated 12 years experience as a freelance industrial designer, working at some of the UK's best known design consultants: IDEO, Fitch, tangerine, Seymour Powell. I then went on to become senior associate of industrial design for Geoff Hollington.
For 5yrs working through my own practise servicejunkie, I have been independently advocating the collaborative methods and tools of Service Design to innovate and improve services through the lens of Customer Experience.
Formerly part of the DesignThinkers global network, I've helped create and facilitate Service Design Thinking workshops, to share the idea that 'thinking like a designer' can help people (in very different business roles) work together creatively to solve customer problems and explore opportunities that could lead to new or improved services.
