A graduate of the University of Oregon’s Journalism School, Nicole has spent the past twelve years as a broadcast journalist. She is passionate about telling stories and her work has aired nationally for NBC News, and regionally for ESPN. She’s even picked up some hardware along the way. While her background is predominantly in sports, Nicole draws a lot of her inspiration from art. Her appreciation for music started at a young age, seated at her Grandmothers piano. She knows first-hand the drive it takes to make a living as an artist and a journalist. Her brother- in- law is Juno award winning (that’s like a Grammy- Canadian style) Indie artist Dan Mangan and her sister Kirsten an actress. She loves that moment at a live performance, when you get goose bumps and appreciates the opportunity to tell the world about it.
