<aboutMe>Born in Korea, growing up in Cambodia, Singapore and now the United States, I often refer to myself as a TCK, Third Culture Kid, someone who, as a child, has spent a significant period of time in one or more culture(s) other than his or her own, thus integrating elements of those cultures and their own birth culture, into a third culture. After graduating high school from Cambodia, I moved to Boston to put my two passions together; a passion for public relations and a passion for giving back to the community. I am a junior at Boston University studying mass. communication and Public Relations. Although I am interested in nonprofit management, I believe that it is critical to have a background in business and therefore decided to fulfill a minor in business administration and started exploring business with nonprofit and public relations in the form of corporate social responsibility (CSR) or cause branding. I have done a series of internships in various nonprofit organizations and a PR agency. I am also on the executive board for an organization called Liberty in North Korea at B.U. I speak four languages: Korean, English, Mandarin and Khmer and during my free time, I like to volunteer at a local daycare center, attend performances or explore new places in Boston.</aboutMe>
