I'm taking a nap

I am an unschooling, married mom of three young men and self proclaimed terrorist. I take pleasure in terrorizing my older brother and my kids. Singing is my passion and I LOVE chocolate and my service dog, Velcro. He's a Min Pin, 10 pounds and the best thing to happen to me since childbirth.

I am new to unschooling after a myriad of issues with and disgust in the educational institution, my husband and I, at the request of our youngest (he'd actually been asking to be homeschooled since before starting kindergarten), began to homeschool with Connections Academy. It was not a good fit for us so in February 2012, we started on the adventure that is unschooling.
