Nancy Tillery Walker - Certified Geriatric Care Manager in Knoxville

Nancy Walker is the owner of Knox Care Management Services. After working professionally with the elderly and their families in a number of settings, she decided to provide a service that would provide evaluative information, intervention strategies and on-going support.
"My company is committed to assisting individuals and their families with the challenges of aging. My goal is to maintain the well being, independence and dignity of the older family members while being sensitive to the family's needs and resources. As a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Case Managers, I am committed to the highest ethical standards.
Ms. Walker has 25 years of experience providing care management services to elderly & disabled individuals and their family. She directed Care Management Services at the local Office on Aging for 15 years, and was a Case Manager and Case Manager Supervisor with the local community mental health center for 10 years.
Ms. Walker is a Certified Geriatric Care Manager - certification through the National Academy of Certified Care Managers in 1999.
She is a member of the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers, the Southeast Chapter of Geriatric Care Managers, the National Association of Social Workers, the National Council on Aging and the Tennessee Conference on Social Welfare.
She has a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology & Sociology from the University of Tennessee and 30 graduate hours in Gerontology from the U. T. College of Public Health.
