My name is Nathan, I was born in South Africa and lived in England for 10 years. I moved to Israel alone in July 2011.

My plan in Israel is to join the army, It wont be straight forward, I was diagnosed with Diabetes at the age of 14.

I'm hoping this blog will help me keep track of what I do or what happens in Israel, aswell I hope that maybe somewhere out there, there are more diabetics wanting to join the IDF and hopefully the blog can help.

I will try to post as often as possible, but truthfully I dont get much free time and when I do get free time, I am not quite sure if it classes as free time.
