<aboutMe>Hello. My name is Michelle. I am starting this blog on a whim. Every day in my household is an adventure and so I thought other people might enjoy reading about my adventures and also share their own. My world consists of my two children, my husband, two dogs, my job and all the craziness that life brings our way!
Family is most important. David is my oldest son, he is 7. From the day he was born I have been in love with him. He brightens my day with his smile, his wit and his clever way of looking at life. Being severe ADHD, he is definitely a challenge at times. But that’s what makes it interesting! He was the inspiration for the name of this blog and one reason I wanted to start writing here. Someone once described ADHD children as square pegs being forced into a round hole. I have never found a more fitting description of my David! Jackson is my youngest, he is 2. From the day he was born I have been in love with him as well. I can’t help it, my children are beautiful! I firmly believe God only gives us what he knows we can handle. I wonder many days what he was thinking when he gave me Jackson and I cannot wait to see what the future will bring for him. He is a bruiser; I think he will be a linebacker for LSU one day. But he is the most loving, sweet hearted, child I think I have ever seen!
My first passion, long before my children came along, is my husband. He is my perfect match. He just gets me. He drives me crazy most days, but I love him for it. We have been married for 12 yrs and I still get butterflies in my stomach when he comes in the room or touches my hand. He is a wonderful father to our children, he loves God and reminds me daily of the many things we should be thankful for.
I love making time for my family, cooking, photography and painting. These things put me in my happy place. So my plan here is to tell you about the things I love in the hopes that you might relate, laugh at our follies, or just revel in my insanity and wonder how I make it through the day! I am not a very good writer, I am more of a streams of conscious type writer. What is on my brain, just spills out onto the page. So I will just learn as I go here and welcome your comments, related stories, recommendations or whatever might be on your mind!</aboutMe>
