Nate Marks
President/Creative Director
Nate has over 20 years of experience in Marketing Communications, with a strong visual sense, excellent writing skills, and the ability to translate marketing ideas and design concepts across all organizational levels. He manages and directs operations, and is responsible for sales, service, marketing, motivating staff, and problem solving. Nate manages client, and internal deadlines, and handles changing priorities while adhering to strategy, accuracy, and time lines.
Nate has a Bachelor of Science in Visual Design from the famed Institute of Design at the Illinois Institute of Technology, and a Master of Education in Interdisciplinary Education from Loyola University of Chicago. He is listed in Marquis Who's Who in Advertising; Media and Communications, and has received service awards from the Chicago Creative Coalition, the Society of Typographic Arts, and Women in Design.
DesignMarks has developed and produced branding, advertising, corporate identity, graphic communications. and packaging for numerous clients, including The American Bar Association, American Dietetic Association, American Hospital Association, Amoco Corporation, Chess Records, Folletts Publishing, International Paper Corporation, Mercury Record Corporation, and the University of Chicago Press. From time to time DesignMarks has opened branch offices in Ann Arbor, Las Vegas, and San Francisco to service particular client needs.
