Nicolas Guy Williams (1970-) Born In Gloucester In England, spent some time in Malta as a child, Studied Fine Art at Cardiff in Wales 1989-1992. Is a mainly underground Artist and Poet, spent some time up in Preston, Lancashire; lived a semi-nomadic life for brief periods in the 1990's as a "New Age Traveller"/"Bohemian" Individual with a love of pirates, free festivals, raves and new age spirituality, shamanism and green ethics, Worked briefly for the Civil Service, and went to live in France in 2000. Wandered around the Pyrenees, the Langue d'oc and Catalonia and Andorra (and Malta) Carried on writing and painting there, paints abstract, and conceptual surrealist images, highly influenced by mythology and psychedelia using a wide range of materials including computers. Writes a wide range of poetry influenced by the 20th Century Modernists, and the Beatniks, and Baudelaire and Rimbaud. Spent a year in England on the fylde coast between 2010 and 2011 (worked for a Royal Mail depot briefly whilst there), before venturing off to China for a month, wandered around Shenzhen and Guangzhou. Returned to France (Toulouse) in 2011 to finish a painting. Is still in France writing and painting. Has a number of unfinished Novels in the pipe-line including one about pirates & angels. Returned to England to look for work in late September 2011
