She grew up helping her mother cook, from simply getting a pot of rice started before her parents returned home from work to convincing her very Vietnamese father to try her latest tiramisu recipe. While most of her fellow college students were pigging out on pizzas and burgers, she spent two years as a pescatarian and ended up doing a lot of her own cooking and experimenting, for better or worse. Now that she's in the "real world," she likes to splurge on dining out and taking those experiences home to her now-omnivorous kitchen. Her love of food paired with her penchant for putting thoughts to paper took her on a journey from amateur blogger to four-year Yelp Elite reviewer to launching this food blog, a joint effort with her boyfriend Martin.
