The Loon Whisperer

I am a Mother. And even if I hadn't spent the the past fifty-plus years becoming lots of other things, at the end of my days that would have been enough. I am trying to make peace with both hot flashes and the fact that my nest is empty. That nest is built on five acres of maple trees in Northern Minnesota. I waited most of my life for a room of my own in which to write. And then I began this journey, and discovered that it wasn't the room at all. I just had to get old enough to figure out what it was I had to say that someone else might want to read. So, if you're reading this....thank you!
