NRG pet products, a Canadian based dog food company, has formed a U.S based company, NRG USA, to bring their one of a kind dog food to dog lovers in the United States.
15 years ago the founders of NRG, (Dr. Meg Smart a veterinarian with a Ph.D. in nutrition and a fellow food scientist) collaborated on a new series of diets for dogs that were balanced for all life stages. These diets were
made only from fresh ingredients and were balanced using whole food
ingredients. The diverse menu of ingredients met all the nutrient requirements of the dog without a vitamin premix, a world wide first and still an NRG exclusive.
NRG has been manufacturing dehydrated dog food for over 15 years. NRG has a proprietary way of dehydrating that makes their dog food very palatable for the most finicky dogs. To this day NRG is still manufactured on the company’s own farm in British Columbia Canada under the watchful eye of the company’s owners. Unlike other dog food companies who purchase their foods dehydrated from third party suppliers, NRG purchases their ingredient direct from the same farming families your grocery store purchases and dehydrates the food themselves.
NRG dog food does not use gimmicks, promotional stunts, false marketing or fancy commercials to sell their dog food it relies mainly on word of mouth and dogs themselves. NRG is truly an artisan dog food and as the company states: “NRG – three letters that will change your dogs life”
