Hi everyone!
My name is Maria Zarif, I am originally from Afghanistan but I live in the United Arab Emirates for more than 2 years now. I started this blog for many reasons. And honestly the reasons changed until i found out that i can write poems. My grand father was a great writer in Afghanistan and was well known for his talent. And deep inside, I always thought that I got this gift of wiring from him.

I am 16, and as years passed my passion to things changed. I started liking different things and yet tried always to stick with the things I used to love a lot. I am a great sports fan. I do sports more than I watch them.

I started up with writing near the pool, sitting with a cold drink in the warm weather of Dubai, and writing on my computer.
