I am an economist and economic sociologist, interested in social networks and their impact on markets, organisations, consumer choice and health.
My research also includes some work in the methodology of economics and social science.
I am involved in initiatives to create an improved environment for social science research in Europe, especially by facilitating access to, and sharing of, socioeconomic data for research purposes.
My teaching is in the areas of microeconomic theory as applied to business and management strategy; social and organisational network analysis; and social science methodology.
