<aboutMe>I like to work with words. Not sure why it’s taken me this long to start a blog. I am from British Columbia, Canada, and married a beautiful woman from Prince Edward Island, Canada, who inspires me to do my best. We live in a hundred year old farmhouse in rural PEI and have two amazing young daughters who remind us every day what is most important in life.

I find myself at a place in life where new doors are opening on new opportunities. That’s exciting. It creates a window to look at past experiences in anticipation of what the future will bring. It is all positive and all motivating. I like to reflect on the milestones we pass as we navigate the path in front of us. It helps define the idea that if we seek out what we truly love the rest will fall into place.

Writing has always been my vocation. If I knew nothing else, I knew how to write. I would never have guessed that writing would lead to a career in tourism development and media relations that has spanned three provinces and two coasts, but it has. I fell into the tourism industry through my writing.</aboutMe>
