As a beauty expert Dr Perdita Meeks modeled professionally for Jet Magazine for 4 consecutive years. Owned and operated Perdita Marcle’s Salon and Boutique for over 20years. She was a guest of the Oprah Winfrey's Show for a model search in 2005. At the age of 40 years she placed 2nd runner up in the Mrs. New York Beauty pageant. Winning 1st place as Rochester Beauty and 1st place for Mrs. Personality in 2010.
