Hi I'm Pete - author of such tales as 31 Days in a Campervan and A Long Walk in the Alps while a trip into adventure thriller land is fairly imminent - more on that soon. I've always loved travel though and it was a trip to New Zealand in '05 that inspired me to write my first book.
I'm also into walking and outdoor photography - my efforts with the camera are on display in the Mountain Landscapes gallery though whether this is a good or a bad thing I'm not sure. Most people seem to like them though so there they will stay for the moment.
Another favourite activity is being out on the bike but seeing as far too many drivers treat their cars as weapons of war rather than as modes of transport I usually try to stick to mountain bike trails taking care to avoid the extreme stuff - ie anything that involves becoming airborne - as while this can look cool my landings are not.
I guess that I'm more into movies than TV though I never miss an episode of NCIS and my hometown is Lymm in Cheshire though I currently live near Blackburn Lancashire
