Peter Warburton

, I spent a short time in the Royal Navy, then building motorways before becoming an English teacher, then headteacher. This role meant that I did much writing, but generally not of fiction (unless you include the many press releases I had to submit). As a writer I have had a couple of minor successes. I wrote and edited a newsletter which won a national award and I recently collaborated on the winning entry in Writing Magazine’s short story competition. Serious Weaknesses is the first of what I hope will become a series featuring Greg Townsend as an investigator.
