I was watching a move---cannot remember which---and one character asked another what his life dream was. He replied he didn't have one. When asked what kind of life that was, he replied, a very nice one.

Dreams, or ambitions, I suppose is what they meant, drive us, force us forward, push us. These are the people who change the world, who achieve great things. On the other hand is Erma Bombeck's "Life is what happens while you are making plans."

Mine is more the latter than the former.

I am a pale DaVinci shadow: like him, my interests are wide and varied, but alas, I am not who he was, for I understand far less than he.

I like writing fiction and my characters seem to have more interesting lives than I. I am not afraid to express opinions. I love comments back.

So, come on over sometime and stay a spell. Hopefully, I will not bore.
