<aboutMe>I am a wife, a mother, and I work outside the home full-time. I didn't discover my passion for photography until I had children... it all started with a 35mm camera (that I borrowed from my mother, because I didn't have one), that lead to my first digital camera (a hand-me-down from my mother), and now I am on my 3rd (that I have actually bought myself). I am not a professional, I have had no formal training... I am just someone who loves photography, to be able to look at things around me in a whole new way, "How would THAT look through the lens of my camera?" My camera has taken me places that I would never have considered going before, opened my eyes to our natural and "man-made" surroundings in a way I never imagined. I feel as if I have been "born again" into a new life, something I can finally do for myself, something with endless possibilities, something that I can do no matter where I go. You know how whenever there is a moment that you are TRULY enjoying, whether it be on a vacation, a peaceful walk, your children laughing, etc....and you say to yourself, "I wish I could put this moment in a bottle and hold on to it forever"? Well, with photography, it's possible!! When we think about what has truly made us happy in life, what do we think about?? .... our memories!!</aboutMe>
