NOTE:I spent 35 years working in a large corporation, as a leader and a follower.  Though technically retired, I have never liked that word.  To me, it suggests withdrawal and while I enjoy spending  time on sandy beaches and in peaceful surroundings, I'm not ready for a steady diet of it.  Instead, I want to contribute to the development of leaders who know and understand the unique challenges the 21st century presents.  I want to see more women take their places around more corporate board tables too because I believe an even distribution of women and men in any circumstance makes for great things to happen.
