This blog deals with Mathematics, Physics and Animal rights.
I was born in Udupi, Karnataka , India. I currently live in Bombay. I am also currently clearing the nonsense in this about me.
My interests are mainly in Mathematics and Physics, as they are fundamental.
My interest in Mathematics arose many years ago at the age of 8, when I realized how objective the subject is. I started to realise that it has an interesting subset, called Physics.
Physics had first caught my imagination after I started following a popular-science television programme titled Into the Universe with Stephen Hawking.
I began reading a number of books from Classical Mechanics, to S & G Relativity and Quantum Mechanics, Quantum Field Theory to String Theory. So, I was passionate about becoming a mathematician and a physicist. I later realised that a mathematician = someone who studies either mathematics or physics, but from a rigorous pov, whereas a physicist studies it from an intuitive one. So I decided to be the latter : ) .
I was an ovo-lacto-vegan from October 1999 (when I was born) to December 2011. From January 2012 onwards, I turned lacto-vegan. Of course, the word “vegan” means to abstain also from the consumption of dairy, but I describe myself as a “lacto-vegan” rather than “lacto-vegetarian” because I also abstain from leather, fur, wool, down, vivisection, random animal abuse etc.
