A little about me:
My name is Shmuel Aryeh, 33 years old (at least until my next birthday), living in Israel with my wife, Myriam..
I hold a BA in Hebrew studies, which includes all kind of courses related to Judaism, Jewish culture, Israel, and so on.. I'm presently studying at the Hebrew University, where I'm taking an MA in Religious Studies (focusing on law in the three Abrahamic religions.. Exciting:o)..
My interest is primarily within a religious context, mostly Judaism and Islam, where I'm focusing mostly on law and ethics (as well as some philosophy, when it touches the two mentioned subjects, which it does often).. Especially haRaMBaM, Z"L, who is also known as Maimonides, have my interest..
I'm not so political as I have been, though I would describe myself as a Zionist, though a pragmatic Zionist, but nevertheless Zionist.. If you want to get an idea what it means for me, and how it defines me, then feel free to ask, but don't create your own idea about what an "Zionist" is and what he (or she) thinks, I prefer to define myself..
I'm currently working on a couple of blogs, and some projects, the most noteworthy my main blog, A Jewish Voice, and my website Judaic Awareness..
Besides that I'm like people are most.. I like life and all what is part of it.. I love to take photos, and since I'm living near Jerusalem (or in Jerusalem according to some definitions) I'll probably take lots of pictures of her..
