My musical career began at an early age while attending the goodwill Junior High School (Dominica). I was a member of the choir which won the Schools Choir Competition in 1979. Immediately after that period I migrated to Barbados. Whilst here I discovered that I also had the ability to dance as well (Disco Dancing), I can remember going back to Dominica in the 80’s and placing second in the national disco dancing competition. That same year (1982) I took part in the Dominica Broadcasting Service (D.B.S) Christmas song competition, the song was an instant hit, and took me into the final.
Between that era and the present time, I have been involved in various competitions, and recordings. I was also the lead singer for the band called Ever glaze, and the trio called The Diamonds, In (Barbados). In 1991 I signed up with the Contenders Calypso Tent, there I spent three seasons.
