Realizing Rights
Realizing Rights is an unofficial blog of Asylum Access Volunteer Legal Advocates (VLAs). VLAs are a group of dedicated refugee rights lawyers who empower refugees in Africa, Asia and Latin America to live safely, work, send their children to school and rebuild their lives. Through this blog, we hope to raise awareness about the rights of refugees and asylum seekers around the world, and to provide a forum for the frustrating, compelling, and inspiring stories encountered by Asylum Access VLA’s every day.
