Realizing Rights is an unofficial blog of Asylum Access Volunteer Legal Advocates (VLAs). VLAs are a group of dedicated refugee rights lawyers who empower refugees in Africa, Asia and Latin America to live safely, work, send their children to school and rebuild their lives. Through this blog, we hope to raise awareness about the rights of refugees and asylum seekers around the world, and to provide a forum for the frustrating, compelling, and inspiring stories encountered by Asylum Access VLA’s every day.
We also welcome your feedback! If you are interested in contributing to this blog, please contact us at email@example.com. And if you are a current Asylum Access VLA, staff or alumni, please join our Asylum Access VLA and Alumni Facebook group at http://www.facebook.com/groups/asylumaccessalumni/.
