NOTE:Hi, My name is Reno King Lawrence,  I am the single father of three artsy talented grown ups – Boy, girl, boy!! They are the apples of my eye. Even though they are grown and far away, they are the passion of my love and focus.   I have a personal relationship with the Living God -- I am obsessed with the idea that the universe, and all that is in it, has a designer and that this designer proceeded its beginning.  The divinity of such a spirit was here before all, including me. I am humbled that I have awareness to experience this miracle, that He seeks me with unconditional love and grace, to such degree that I seek Him back, knowing I am and will always be a part that cannot exist apart from the whole - God is the whole.  Pardon the male gender usage "His", it is one way I relate.  I am a poet, a photographer, a musician who has been playing harmonica for 37 years while also playing a little guitar.  I have played in many blues bands and with some amazing musicians here in Dallas.  I am an artist who draws on occasion.  Once upon a time I painted often with acrylics and oils yet, they have since hardened in their tubes since last they were put to canvas.  I am a native Californian, I spent 3-years in the Pacific Northwest (Olympia/Lacey, WA) in 1979-81, and presently have taken a residence in Dallas, Tx. since 2006. I work in commercial print/packaging as a manufacturing planner.   Some words that best describe me: Spiritual, grateful, introspective, philosophical, artistic, intuitive, sensitive, vulnerable, courageous, articulate, humorous, soulful, creative, goofy, awkward, much to say, often critical of myself.  I seek to explore various forms of expression. Throughout my life; art, music, photography, poetry, and writing have all been a large part of that journey;  renokingswordsnpoetry features my poetry. Some of my photography and art can be found on my blog also.  I haven't found a way to post any of my harmonica solo's, yet, I might send you a solo, if you ask. Try me!
