Kyle L. Jones

Kyle L. Jones is a native of Arkadelphia, Arkansas and the pastor of Mt. Friendship Baptist Church in Curtis, Arkansas. He graduated from Arkadelphia High School in 2001, serving as Senior Class President. He went on to Henderson State University where he became a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Kyle received his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from HSU and then obtained his master’s degree in Higher Education from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. His academic interests include Twentieth Century Political and Social History; African American Political Thought; Civil Rights/Black Power Movements; African American History; African American Religious History and Practice; Access and Diversity in Higher Education.
