<aboutMe>I'm an aspiring photographer who recently moved to Tampa, FL, with my wife Monique and 9-year-old son Evin. We relocated from St. Paul, MN, because we wanted to soak up the sunshine and beautiful beaches. The move here was great for my photography. With such great sunny weather, it's easy to go out shooting.

I've been passionate about photography for years but I became more committed in 2010. After several digital point-and-shoots, and the frustrations that come with them, especially in low light, I decided to upgrade to my first DSLR, a Canon T2i (550D). I should have bought a DSLR a long time ago!

I love taking shots of anything that grabs my attention and makes a great shot, whether it be sports, landscapes, people, wildlife, or anything else. I used to love taking pictures of our French Bulldog, Chico, but he passed away at age 2 in May 2011. And although I have hundreds of pictures of him, I regret not taking even more. I think that taught me an important lesson.

Never waste an opportunity to shoot what or who you love! There's no such thing as taking too many pictures!</aboutMe>
