My genius, if I can call it that, is to combine a whole load of averageness into one compact frame. I'd say that there were millions like me but there aren't, really: Lots of guy have impeccable music taste but don't read, lots of guys read but are really fat, lots of guys are sympathetic to feminism but have stupid beards or ponytails, lots of guys have a woody allen sense of humor but look like woody allen. Lots of guys drink too much, drive like idiots, get into fights, show off about money, or take excessive amounts of drugs. I don't do any of those things. Really if i've ever done OK with women it hasn't been because of the virtues i have but because of the shadows i don't have.
