runninghaiku

I'm a public relations consultant who started running as something to do with my sister when she came to visit. My first race was the Ragnar Relay Northwest Passages - a 200 mile relay run from the Canadian Border to Langley on Whidbey Island. Heads turned when I sait out loud in the van, "Maybe I should have started with a 5K." No regrets and nothing but great times. Fun enough for me to do it again the following year and now I look for races to do year round to keep running fun.

As for the haiku, that's what I did in my head when I first started to run to try and distract myself from getting used to running. You'll see some here but most of them involved four letter words. Now I run more and do haiku less.
