I'm a gardener and a newbie beekeeper, using a Warre hive and a carved log hive named Bee Beard. I'm trying the 'natural' method of keeping bees...little intervention, no miticides, no antibiotics, no feeding (log hive). My bees came from a swarm for the Warre, and a tree for the log hive.
I've never been accused of being a good writer, but I love to take photos and talk about them. When the sun is out and the bees are flying it's hard to get any work out of me...my wife will attest to that.
