NOTE:My name is Maria Katherine, best known as Kaye Salvador. I am a 20 year-old college student, living in Canoga Park and currently studying at Los Angeles Pierce College in Woodland Hills. I am the editorial cartoonist, as well as the comic strip artist of Pierce College's Roundup newspaper. I hope to transfer to Otis College of Art & Design in Los Angeles within a few semesters. As a generally self-taught artist, I still have much to learn & am constantly discovering new techniques to sharpen my skills and define my own art style. I am inspired by passion, faith, movement, and the individuality of each person on this earth – that there truly is no one else like you. I believe that I have been given a gift by God to create, and my intention is simple - I want to share this gift with the world; My art is not just for my own amusement, nor is it to be kept to myself. It is to be able to touch, open, & inspire the hearts of this generation, and perhaps generations to come.
