I'm a graduate of the University of Minnesota, where I earned my bachelor's degree in journalism and mass communications. I've released several autism documentaries, with my first winning the 2008 Alliance for Community Media Hometown Video Award in the documentary - public awareness category. I'm also a featured blogger on the autism community site Autisable and Disability Resource Exchange. On the side, I do freelance beat coverage for the University of Minnesota women's basketball team and Minnesota Lynx.
