NOTE:I research and teach social media at the Temple University Fox School of Business in Philadelphia, PA. I have a degree in computer science, an MBA, and a PhD in information systems. My doctoral dissertation studied the role of leadership in continued participation in online communities.   My formal job title is: Assistant Professor and Director, Social Media Programs and Research in the Management Information Systems department at Temple University Fox School of Business. My major research focus is online communities as a form of social media that supports organizational knowledge management. I also study knowledge management in healthcare.   I have created an undergraduate course on Social Media Innovation that includes a Social Media Innovation Quest.
